Sorbact® Absorption – an absorbent dressing for protecting wounds, preventing infection, and taking care of exuding wounds

Sorbact® Absorption is a sterile wound dressing that binds bacteria and fungi. The unique Sorbact® surface binds bacteria from the wound, helping it to heal and preventing infection. Combine with a fixation dressing. Sorbact® Absorption can be used for exuding wounds, such as surgical and acute wounds. For the best effect, the entire surface of the wound should be covered by the green Sorbact® surface.

How to apply Sorbact® Absorption

Open the sterile packaging.

Clean the wound. Place the dressing with the green surface in direct contact with the wound surface. The dressing should overlap the edges of the wound by at least 2 cm. The dressing should not be cut.

Fixate by using tape or a bandage. It can stay on for several days depending on the state of the wound and the surrounding skin.
